Citation

1.  These Rules are the Boundaries and Survey Maps (Prescribed Fees) Rules 2001.

Fees

2.—(1)  The fees specified in the second column of the Schedule must be paid to the Chief Surveyor in such manner as he or she may determine in respect of the matters specified in the first column of the Schedule.

(2)  The fees specified in the second column of the Schedule are payable in advance for surveys, including demarcation and emplacement of boundary marks, performed by the Chief Surveyor and for any related works and services.

(3)  The Chief Surveyor may remit or refund, wholly or in part, any fee paid or payable under these Rules.

(4)  Paragraph (3) applies regardless of whether the fee was paid or payable before, on or after 1 June 2015.

THE SCHEDULE

(1)	For all survey work —
	(a) for field work		$126 per hour or part of an hour
	(b) for office work		$63 per hour or part of an hour
Lot numbers
(2)	(a) For allocation of lot numbers		$190 per application
	(b) For activation of lot numbers for the purposes of caveat lodgement		$130 per application
Assurance plan
(3)	(a) For checking of a Registrar of Titles plan submitted by a registered surveyor		$165
	(b) For checking of a strata title plan submitted by a registered surveyor		$231 plus $12.60 per strata lot
Maps, plans and survey records maintained by Singapore Land Authority
(4)	For each search in electronic form, and printout of, the following:
	(a) a horizontal control print		$11.55
	(b) a vertical control print		$11.55
	(c) a cadastral map		$11.55
	(d) a certified plan		$11.55
	(e) a strata certified plan		$11.55
	(f) a Registrar of Titles plan		$11.55
