Building and Construction Authority Act

(Chapter 30A)

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 35 of the Building and Construction Authority Act, the Building and Construction Authority, with the approval of the Minister for National Development, hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Building and Construction Authority (Composition of Offences) Regulations 2011 and shall come into operation on 15th April 2011.

Compoundable offences

2. The following offences may be compounded in accordance with section 34C of the Act by the Chief Executive, or an officer of the Authority duly authorised by the Chief Executive to do so:

(a)	an offence under section 31D(3) (other than a continuing offence), 31E(6), 31H(8), 31I(6), 31J(5), 31M(4) or 31Q(2), (5), (8), (9) or (10) of the Act; and
(b)	an offence under regulation 19(3), 22(7) or 35 of the Building and Construction Authority (Importers’ Licensing) Regulations 2011 (G.N. No. S 122/2011).
