Regulations 2026
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 67 of the Active Mobility Act 2017, the Land Transport Authority of Singapore, with the approval of the Acting Minister for Transport, makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations are the Active Mobility (Definition of Mobility Vehicle) Regulations 2026 and come into operation on 27 February 2026.
Definition of “mobility vehicle”
2.  For the purposes of paragraph (c) of the definition of “mobility vehicle” in section 2(1) of the Act, a non‑motorised wheelchair that —
(a)is designed to carry an individual who is unable to walk or has difficulty in walking; and
(b)is propelled by a motorised attachment that —
(i)does not form part of the wheelchair;
(ii)has one or more wheels; and
(iii)is steered by handlebars,
is a mobility vehicle.
