Citation

1.  This Notification may be cited as the Animals and Birds (Exemption) Notification.

Exemption

2.  The Director-General hereby exempts from section 8 of the Act any person who imports any fresh table hen egg —

(a) from any of the countries specified in the first column of the Schedule; and

(b) subject to the corresponding maximum amount specified in the second column of the Schedule.

THE SCHEDULE

Australia, France and New Zealand		30 eggs per person.
