We Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan,                                President of the United Arab Emirates,
Upon reviewing the Constitution;
- Federal Law No. (1) of 1972 Concerning the Competences of the Ministries and the Powers of the Ministers, and the Laws amending it;
- Federal Law No. (8) of 1973; Concerning Civil Service in the Federal Government, and the Laws amending it;
- Federal Law No. (8) of 1980 Regulating the Labour Relationships, and the Laws amending it;
- Federal Law No. (36) of 1992 on Rehabilitation;
Upon the proposal of the Minister of Labour and Social Affairs and the Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, as approved by the Cabinet and the Federal National Council, and as ratified by the Federal Supreme Council;
Have issued the following Law:

Article (1)

The convicted nationals shall be exempted from the rehabilitation condition upon their appointment in government or private entities after the penalty has been executed or pardoned, or after its forfeiture for prescription.

Article (2)

Any provision that violates or contradicts the provisions of this Law shall be repealed.

Article (3)

Any provision that violates or contradicts the provisions of this Law shall be repealed.
