The Cabinet,
− Having reviewed the Constitution,
− Federal Law No. (1) of 1972 Regarding the Competences of Ministries and Powers of Ministers, as amended,
− Federal Law No. (28) of 2001 Establishing the Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology, as amended, and
− Upon the approval of the Cabinet,
Hereby resolves as follows:
Article (1)
The standard specification No. (UAE.S 5010 – 8 :2019) Labeling - Energy Efficiency Label – Energy Efficiency Label for Electrical Appliances - Part Eight: Television Sets, shall be considered a mandatory standard specification in the United Arab Emirates.
Article (2)
All concerned entities responsible for the implementation of this Resolution shall regularize their status in accordance with the provisions thereof within (180) one hundred and eighty days from the date of its entry into force.
Article (3)
This Resolution shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall enter into force on the day following the date of its publication.
