The Cabinet,
‒ Having reviewed the Constitution; and
‒ Federal Law No. (1) of 1972 concerning the competences of ministries and capacities of ministers and its amendments; and
‒ Federal Law No. (28) of 2001 concerning the establishment of the Emirates Standards and Metrology Authority and its amendments; and
‒ Cabinet Resolution No. (21) of 2015 concerning the Emirates System for control on Petroleum Derivatives; and
‒ Based upon the Cabinet's approval,
Decided:
 

Article (1)

The adopted mandatory standard No. (UAE.S 1785-2:2019) "Oils for internal combustion engines - Part 2 - Oils for gasoline and diesel engines according to the European classification", shall be considered a mandatory standard with obligatory application in the United Arab Emirates.

Article (2)

All concerned bodies, present at the time of enforcement of this resolution, shall comply with its provisions within (180) days of its enforcement.

Article (3)

This resolution shall be published in the official gazette and shall come into force as of the day following its date of publication.
