The Cabinet,
− Having reviewed the Constitution,
− Federal Law No. (1) of 1972 Regarding the Competences of Ministries and Powers of Ministers, as amended,
− Federal Law No. (1) of 2003 Regarding the Establishment of the Federal Customs Authority, as amended,
− Federal Law No. (13) of 2004 Regarding the Control of Import, Export, and Transit of Rough Diamonds, as amended,
− Federal Law No. (1) of 2011 Regarding the State's Public Revenues,
− Federal Decree No. (47) of 2003, Regarding the Accession of the United Arab Emirates to the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme for Trade in Rough Diamonds,
− Cabinet Resolution No. (37) of 2006 Regarding the Determination of Fees Due for Issuing the State's Certificates for Rough Diamonds,
− Cabinet Resolution No. (153/10) of 2006 Regarding the Accreditation of the Dubai Diamond Exchange as an Entry and Exit Point for the Import and Export of Diamonds to and from the State, and
− Upon the proposal of the Minister of Finance and the approval of the Cabinet,
Hereby resolves as follows:
 

Article (1) Fees Prescribed for the Export of Rough Diamonds

The Ministry of Economy shall issue the State certificates for the export of rough diamonds, and the fees shall be collected for the issuance thereof as specified in the Schedule below:

Article (2) Fees Prescribed for the Import of Rough Diamonds

The fees specified in the Schedule below shall be collected in consideration of the services related to the import of rough diamonds:

Article (3)

The fees stipulated in this Resolution shall be collected by the means determined by the Ministry of Finance in this regard.

Article (4)

Cabinet Resolution No. (37) of 2006 Regarding the Determination of Fees Due for Issuing the State's Certificates for Rough Diamonds is hereby repealed, as well as any provision that contradicts or conflicts with the provisions of this Resolution.

Article (5)

The Ministry of Economy and the concerned entities shall, each within its respective competence, implement the provisions of this Resolution.

Article (6)

This Resolution shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall enter into force thirty days after the date of its publication.
