The Cabinet,
‒ Upon reviewing the Constitution;
‒ Federal Law No (1) of 1972 concerning the Competences of the Ministries and the Capacities of the Ministers, and amendments thereof; and
‒ Federal Law No. (37) of 2006 on Private Security Companies, and amendments thereof; and
‒ Federal Law No. (1) of 2011 with respect to the Public Revenues of the State; and
‒ Federal Law by Decree No. (8) of 2011 concerning the Rules for Preparation of the General Budget and Final Accounts; and
‒ Cabinet Resolution No. (33) of 2008 on Application Fees for Licensing Private Security Companies; and
‒ Based on matters presented by the Minister of Finance, and the Cabinet's,
Decided:
 

 

Article (1) Definitions

In application of Provisions of this Resolution, the following words and phrases shall have the meanings assigned to them, unless the context indicates otherwise:
State: United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Ministry: Ministry of Interior.
Minister: Minister of Interior.
 

Article (2) Service Fees

In consideration of services of licensing private security companies provided by the Ministry and included in the table attached to this resolution, the Ministry shall collect the fees indicated for each service.

Article (3) Fees Amendment

The Cabinet shall be competent to make any amendments concerning the fees stipulated in this Resolution, either through addition, omission or adjustment.

Article (4) Final Provisions

a. The fees set out in this Resolution shall be collected by the means determined by the Ministry of Finance.
b. For the purpose of paying the fees set out in Article (2) of this Resolution, a part of a day shall be deemed to be a full day and the part of a month shall be deemed a full month.
 

Article (5) Issuance of Executive Resolutions

The Minister shall issue the resolutions necessary for the enforcement of the provisions of this Resolution.

Article (6) Repeals

The Cabinet Resolution No. (33) of 2008 on the Application Fees for Licensing Private Security Companies shall be repealed. Any provision that contravenes or contradicts the provisions of this resolution shall also be repealed.

Article (7) Publication and Enforcement

This Resolution shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall come into force on July 07, 2019.
