The Cabinet,
− Having reviewed the Constitution,
− Federal Law No. (3) of 1987 Promulgating the Penal Code; as amended,
− Federal Law No. (35) of 1992 Promulgating the Criminal Procedure Law; as amended,
− Federal Law No. (28) of 2005 Regarding Personal Status; as amended,
− Federal Decree by Law No. (10) of 2019 Regarding Combating Domestic Violence; and
− Upon the approval of the Cabinet,
Hereby resolves as follows:
Article (1)
The provisions of Federal Decree by Law No. (10) of 2019 Regarding Combating Domestic Violence shall enter into force from 01 March 2020.
Article (2)
This Resolution shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall enter into force from the date of its issuance.
