Cabinet Resolution Approving the National Uniform Classification of Disabilities (People of Determination) in the State

The Cabinet:
– Having reviewed the Constitution;
– UAE Law No. 1 of 1972 on the Competences of the Ministries and the Powers of the Ministers, as amended,
– Federal Law No. 29 of 2006 Regarding the Rights of People with Disabilities as amended,
– Cabinet Resolution No. 10 of 2016 Concerning the Organizational Structure of Ministry of Community Development,
– Based on the proposal of the Minister of Community Development and the approval thereof by the Cabinet,
Hereby decided as follows:
Article (1)
The National Uniform Classification of Disabilities (People of Determination) in the State, enclosed with this Resolution, shall be approved.
Article (2)
The Cabinet shall be the competent authority to introduce any amendments to the National Uniform Classification of Disabilities (People of Determination) in the State based on the proposal of the Minister.
Article (3)
This Resolution shall enter into effect as of the date of its issuance and it shall be published in the Official Gazette.
