The Cabinet:
− Upon reviewing the Constitution;
− Federal Law No. (1) of 1972 Concerning the Competencies of Ministries and the Powers of Ministers, as amended;
− And Cabinet Resolution No. (22) of 2013 Approving the National Qualifications Framework;
− And upon the proposal of the Minister of Education and the approval of the Cabinet;
Has resolved as follows:

Article (1)

The "National Qualifications Framework" attached to this Resolution shall be adopted as a national reference for all qualifications in general education (including early education), higher education, and technical, vocational and professional education and training in the country.

Article (2) Executive Resolutions

1. The Ministry of Education is responsible for implementing the National Qualifications Framework across federal and local entities, as well as public and higher education institutions, technical and vocational education and training institutions, and all other entities concerned with education and training systems in the country.
2. The Ministry of Education shall issue the necessary resolutions and guidelines for the implementation of the National Qualifications Framework.

Article (3) Repeals

Cabinet Resolution No. (22) of 2013 approving the National Qualifications Framework shall be cancelled. Any provision that violates or contradicts the provisions of this Resolution shall be repealed.

Article (4) Resolution Publication and Entry into Force

This Resolution shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall enter into force (30) thirty days after the date of its publication.
